Arctic Couture is the custom wig styling business for Drag Artists. Founded by Malachite Glorianna Arctic, this small Queer-owned business (based in Kent) aims to crown our artists with fabulous and durable pieces.

Hello! I'm Malachite, and this is my small wig business!

I started styling wigs around the same time I began to discover myself as a Drag Artist. Knowing that I'd never suit a flat wig and couldn't afford a styled one, I began to learn the intricate art of drag wig styling from scratch.

It's taken quite a few years of practice to get my wigs to a professional standard, and having also invested in my education from other professional stylists has enabled me to feel confident in my creations! When styling, I focus on quality and durability to ensure they last a long time.

Arctic Couture began to emerge in September 2023, and after a year of planning, it officially launched in February 2025 with the Ready 2 Wear collections.

I'm so proud of the successful launch, including taking on commissions from local drag artists, and I'm so excited for the future
